At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colchester we provide no-cost mentoring programs that strive to reach young people who face adversity and are in need of an additional supportive relationship. In addition to offering mentoring programs, we have Fundy Scoops that provides employment opportunities for local youth, including those involved in our mentorship programs. This social enterprise helps develop transferable skills these young people can take with them to other opportunities in the community and in their careers. New this fall was our Job Readiness Program. This exciting ten-part training program prepares youth for the expectations of the work force. With 15 youth participating in 2022, we are hoping to be able to expand this program this year.

The funds raised at this Gala and Auction will be put right back into our organization to be able to continue these programs.
